External Threading Tool

Our range of external threading tools use the industry standard 'laydown' 16 mm triangular (3-edged) inserts. The tools utilise a shim under the insert, which sets the helix angle to match the thread being cut. The tool comes with a +1° shim, which covers the large majority of common threads. Available separately are shims for helix angles of -2° to +4°.

Tools are right handed as shown in picture.
